Bibb – Landmark Linens of Georgia (Special Collection by The Junior Leagues of Georgia) (by Artist Wyndell Taylor)

A project in 1980 done with the Junior Leagues of Georgia. It was an idea created by Neva Langley Fickling (A former Miss America, Miss Georgia and an Alumni of Wesleyan College in Georgia where this idea was created/see posting from alumni magazine ) and Valerie McCullough, an alumni and trustee of Wesleyan College. Sheets and pillowcases show historic scenes in 16 Locations in Georgia. The Georgia Landmarks come in a Multicolor pattern of Blue, Green and Peach.  The Macon (Bibb County) Landmark part of the collection was added first and comes in green, blue, and peach muted colors in toile like patterns. No label for this part of the collection has been found as of yet.

Georgia Landmarks 16 Locations: North Georgia Mountains, Sutton House, Capital Dome,Christ Church, Mary Gay House, University of Georgia, The General, Owens-Thomas House, St. Elmo, Oglethorpe Creek Indians, Louisville Market, Hay House, Quail Wagon, Mackay Trading Post & National Golf Course, & Okeefenokee Swamp.
